Friday Art Club: Comic Strips

Ages 7-14  |  4:00 – 5:30pm  Fridays | In-Person Sessions in March

Let loose after the week of school and get your creative brain flowing!  Comic Strip class will introduce students to the art of creating and illustrating basic cartoons and comic strips with their own characters and settings. Draw funny cartoons in ink and color pencils.  Illustrate your expanding drawing abilities with a funny story in comic strips, to impress your family and friends. Students need to bring art supplies [see list below].  Space is limited to 7 students in order to be socially distanced.  Masks are required until students are in their own space.

Students can register now for the Friday March Session — March 5, 12, 19 & 26

Supply list (Available at Michaels or bring what you already have)
-#2, HB or 2B Pencils (2 each)
-Art Gum Eraser ( 1 each)
-Color Pencils (One 36 set)
-Sharpie, Extra Fine (o.8 mm) (2 each) Available at CVS
-Sketch Pad, 9’ x 12” (1 each)
