Capturing the beauty of flowers is a wonderful way to connect with the season. In this online course, we will gather together on Zoom to paint, connect and support each other while exploring floral still-life painting. Each session will begin with a discussion and analysis of a significant floral still-life, and how we can apply the ideas discussed into our own paintings. Then you will work from provided photo references of flowers grown in my garden. All levels are welcome, a love of flowers and a willingness to try new things is what makes it a joyful experience!⠀

Elizabeth is an artist and teacher living in Alexandria, Virginia with her daughter and husband. She works in the home studio and garden, creating paintings that are firmly rooted in celebrating the seasons of the year.
