Applied Photography on Location with Joe Willlmore

5 Weekly Sessions  |  Mondays 4:30-6:30 pm (during the golden hour)

An in-person, on-location class that will change weekly.  We will shoot outdoors or at least outside of the studio.  All locations would be close to Great Falls in Northern Virginia.  This workshop is a hands-on practical application of using your camera (ideally a DSLR but we’ll also look at mirrorless, point-and-shoot, and film).

The workshop will be limited to 6 participants and the instructor will provide individualized direction and assignments for your level of knowledge and your camera.  But it’s more than a “how to” training on using your camera.  The focus is going to be on creating art (and which kind of art will vary with each individual).

About the instructor:  Joe Willmore is an Asst. Coordinator for the Shutterbugs Meetup Group with nearly 4,000 members where he arranges and often facilitates workshops (in person and on-line). He’s a very experienced online instructor and has done a wide range of photography workshops and sessions online. He’s the author of “Hummingbird: Attracting and Photographing Hummingbirds of the Mid-Atlantic.”
