Summer 10B – Manga [Japanese Anime]

Ages 8-18 | 1:30-4:30pm

[All materials will be provided for camp. A $15 supply fee can be paid directly to instructor on Day 1]
In this Manga (Japanese Anime) camp, students will be starting at the top, drawing the head and eyes in particular and then learning different hairstyles. Then, they will create great bodies with cool ways to put clothing on, and practice drawing hands and feet. Parents will be WOWED with the art coming home each day!
About the Artist Instructor: Our long-time instructor, Michela Mansuino, finished graduate school at Studio Incamminati, an Atelier for the study of humanist realism, in June 2017. Her awards are numerous, including the Maggie Price and Jack Richeson Scholarship Award, the Studio Incamminati Scholarship Award, and the D. Colman Witte Scholarship. Michela holds a teaching fellowship at Studio Incamminati and continues to teach at The Arts of Great Falls School bringing the graduate school instruction to her youth students. website
