
Summer 5b – Paper Mache Sculptures

$300Ages 8-18 | 1:30 – 4:30pm
Teacher: Michela Mansuino
Students will learn the art of paper mache and create a sculpture they can call their own. Paper Mache is an age-old technique that dates back to ancient China. Students will use paper and glue to create interesting sculpture shapes such as different animals or objects, and will paint them in a variety of colors. [All materials will be provided with a $40 supply fee and $12 for additional wire, can be paid directly to instructor on Day 1]
About the Artist Instructor: Michela Mansuino, finished graduate school at Studio Incamminati, an Atelier for the study of humanist realism, in June 2017. Her awards are numerous, including the Maggie Price and Jack Richeson Scholarship Award, the Studio Incamminati Scholarship Award, and the D. Colman Witte Scholarship. Michela holds a teaching fellowship at Studio Incamminati and continues to teach at The Arts of Great Falls School bringing the graduate school instruction to her youth students. website
