
Summer 6b – Teen Classical Drawing
July 24 - July 28
$300Ages 12-18 | 1:30-4:30pm

[$35 supply fee paid directly to instructor on Day 1]
In this camp, serious young artists will develop drawing and seeing skills. Exercises in seeing include construction and structure, value study, and mass conceptions by drawing with charcoal and pencil on paper. Students will gain competency in achieving proportions, ability to separate light from shadow masses and technique at handling materials.
About the Artist Instructor: Michela Mansuino, finishes graduate school in June from Studio Incamminati, an Atelier for the study of humanist realism. Her awards are numerous, including the Maggie Price and Jack Richeson Scholarship Award, the Studio Incamminati Scholarship Award, and the D. Colman Witte Scholarship. Michela continues to teach at The Arts of Great Falls School bringing the graduate school instruction to her youth students. website
