Summer 8a – Cartooning

Ages 8-14 | 9:30am-12:30pm
Put down the iPad, turn off the screens and get your creative mind working! This camp will show students the art of illustrating basic Cartoons and Comic Strips with your own characters and settings. Draw funny Cartoons in ink and color pencils for posters, school projects and greeting cards. Illustrate your expanding drawing abilities with a funny story in a three-episode comic strip to thrill your family and friends. Students will provide art supplies. Supply list (Available at Michaels or bring what you already have)
-#2, HB or 2B Pencils (2 each)
-Art Gum Eraser ( 1 each)
-Color Pencils (One 36 set)
-Sharpie, Extra Fine (o.8 mm) (2 each) Available at CVS
-Sketch Pad, 9’ x 12” (1 each)
