Dear Plein Air Artists,
Would you like to participate in the Great Falls Garden Club’s Garden Tour on Saturday, June 4th by painting at one of our venues?
Please contact Amy Kiser (awkiser@gmail.com or 703-328-1689) ASAP if you are interested. Due to space and parking constraints, we will be limiting the number of artists who can participate to 14 total. We anticipate these spaces will fill quickly.
A FEW MORE DETAILS
What: GREAT FALLS GARDEN CLUB GARDEN TOUR
When: Saturday June 4, 2022 from 10:00am-3:00pm.
Where: All venues will be in Great Falls. Some of the locations are private homes, and others are commercial sites (ie: restaurant).
Who: We will be able to have more than one artist at most of the locations. If you’d like to pair up with a plein air friend and be assigned a spot together, please let me know. We also hope to have a musician at some locations.
How/Logistics: We’re working with the owners of each tour site to determine the availability and location of restroom facilities. The hours you choose to be there (between 10:00am and 3:00pm) are up to you. The tour will be held rain or shine, but we understand that your ability to paint will no doubt be weather dependent. We ask that you let us know if you will not be participating for this reason.
Why: To share our enthusiasm for gardening and our appreciation of outdoor natural beauty with the community of Great Falls, and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of this historic club. We would love to have you, our plein air art community, enrich the tour experience with your talents!
